                                Picture
I was very involved with gymnastics at an early age. I myself competed for the Aurora CARA league when I younger. As well as doing gymnastics I was a competitive dancer and cheerleader during my high school years, and had taught many cheer clinics, dance and fitness classes throughout college. I am a graduate of Colorado State University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology, I became Group Leader and Director qualified during my studies. I have focused my past and present studies on Child growth and development as well as Early Childhood Education. I am the current Director of the Tiny Tots and Tumblers Academic Preschool program and love watching the children and program grow!

I have taught gymnastics at every age group within the program, focusing on upper level team gymnasts. I bring dedication, creativity, energy, and fun! I am currently USAG safety certified, a member of the CPRA (Colorado Parks and Recreation Association), a member of the American Amateur Sports Association, and a member of CARA (Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics). I am always looking for new and exciting ways to improve our programs and your child's experience here with us. I work very closely with all of our coaches to keep them updated on proper training techniques, safety guidelines, lesson plans, and execution of skills. Myself and my coaching staff attend biannual coaching and spotting clinics to learn new safety and skill techniques to give our gymnasts the best benefit from our coaching.

I began gymnastics career at a very early age, and continued my career to end as a USAG level 10 gymnast.
When I was 8 years old I was selected to train with an exclusive group of gymnasts in Westchester NY. I trained under their supervision for 4 years.    In 1990 we moved back to Colorado where I continued my career at Colorado Gymnastics Institute in Aurora. I advanced quickly and competed as a Level 10 for six years.  I began my coaching career in 1995 coaching children ages 6-12 in Boulder.   In 1998, I moved to Nebraska where I assisted coaching gymnastics on a college level for two years.   I have since moved back to Colorado and have been coaching for the past 10 years.

I have completed many coaching clinics concentrating on safety and proper skill progression.   In addition, I am judge trained on all four events.

Gymnastics has been a huge part of my life and my childhood. I look forward to sharing my passion within the sport of gymnastics with your children.
