Tiny Tumblers & Rising Stars (4 - 6 Year Old)
Class Description
Our program for children ages 4-6 years is a program of great learning and fun! These 4-6 yr classes strive to instill in children the essential notions of gymnastics movement, spatial awareness, personal discipline, confidence, strength and power, pride in achievement, and effectively working within a group setting. Children begin in the Tiny Tumblers class. Once they have mastered the skills in this class, they will then advance to the Rising Stars class.
During class you will often see your child attempting a skill on their own that may seem outside of their starting ability. This is done intentionally by the instructor to encourage your child to challenge their limits, attempt a skill without a full spot from an instructor, and attempt to execute the skill using the proper techniques previously and continuously taught by the instructor. Eventually your child will need less of a spot from their instructor, and understand how the skill is to be performed. Quickly you will be able to see your child successfully execute the skill alone!
